February 22nd, 2009

Hi everyone,
The wolves are doing fine. Recently we have neutered almost the entire male population in our "big pack". Froto actually jumped over a fence into another enclosure in order to avoid being darted. I heard it was quite amazing to see him jump that high! When it was safe and sound, he jumped back over and joined his family. I guess we will have to try again another day with him. Yesterday, all the wolves were very happy to get fresh meat scraps from Laudermilch's (a butcher in Annville). They were so excited because they haven't gotten it in two weeks. Tioga's pack were jumping all around. They would run in a circle and then jump 5 feet in the air!
The cats are doing well also. We got a small dog house donated a couple of weeks ago, and they've been using it to keep warm, to sleep in, and to stay dry when it rains. All of them could fit in it-easily! They've also been sneaking bits of meat scraps from the buckets while the tour is going on! All of them have been growing rapidly over the past 2 weeks. My friend Katie and I just found out last week that Lilly is a boy! We now call him Lil' Lou. That's all for now. See ya, Kyla from Kids Wolf Talk : )

I just had my 8th birthday, and all of my friends brought dog food and dog treats for my party. We stopped by today so we could give them to the wolves. We saw your mom, and she is so cool ! We also saw all of the cats, and the light brown one is my favorite cat. I was able to pick her up and pet her ! We also got to see Matt feed Charlie and her pack too ! We had such a good time and I can't wait to come back again !

Hey Kyla. It's Top Cat. It's been a long time since I Blogged you. Hope all is well at the Sanctuary. How many cats do you have? You should post some pictures of them. What's new at the Sanctuary?

Hello, Meghan! Sorry for missing your blogs. I have been very busy lately. I'm glad that you liked the cats and got to meet Charlie's pack(a.k.a. "The Retirement Community"). Lucas is the one on my profile. I didn't adopt a wolf, but my nana adopted Chipper. She's going to face paint at the Music and Arts with the Wolves on June
20th. Hope you can come. Thanks for stopping in! See ya, Kyla from Kids Wolf Talk : )
