something different

hey I decided to do something different. Did you know that wolves are in the dog group? and did you know when they eat food like deer they eat the whole thing including the bones except for the jaw? isn't that cool and in captivity they can live till there 14 and in the wild they can live till there 10 one of their wolves are18! that's glacier he is white .did you know that if there were no wolves on the earth it would be really bad and i bet some people would say that's great but it's not if their were no wolves there will be more deer taking up the forest's then they have to eat plant's right so if they keep growing all the plants will be gone then they'll die so if you like to hunt you will not be able to hunt deer cause they'll be extinct. and if you do want to hunt you will have to fish so you see that if you kill wolves it's like a domino reaction so be a friend of wolves not an eenemywell see you next time bye

what a Sunday!

having all those people there, i was tired out when it was over, but they had really fun stuff there, like face painting, lollipop wolf that was next to me. some of you saw me and some didn't but that's OK. Thor wanted me to say a little about him so here it goes Thor was able to see, then he got cataracts. and that is very bad.a lady loved Thor so much that's she offered to pay $6,000 for each eye to be fixed but it got so bad that her money wouldn't help Thor's eye's. but Thor is very loving and caring he can still smell you when your at his enclosure so he knows your there and he runs with lucky and he's just a normal wolf like the rest of them only blind. so you see just because he's blind doesn't mean he's always different from any other wolf. well that's Thor's story if you come to the wolf sanctuary you can see him there see ya

Glacier

Hey people just wanted to tell you that glacier said he wants me to talk about him. He is 18 and he is partnered up with chipper he came to the wolf sanctuary because he bit the Ladies boyfriend wondering why well I'll tell you 1. the lady got married had a kid they got divorced she moved to Florida because of her job she left him in her condo he tore it up looking for her. she moves to Maryland because of her job she gets a boyfriend, glacier tears her car up, because she went to work and he got bored and scared because she left him in the car by himself all day and he tears her car up. like I said she gets a boyfriend the lady taught glacier to give kisses he goes to give the boyfriend a kiss gets scared and bites him and that's how he came to the wolf sanctuary. and he is one of my moms favorite wolves there well that's all for now see you soon on Oct 9

Smokey

Hey wolf lovers it's me Tessa here to tell you about Smokey. She is 16 and she is Patty’s favorite wolf and she has a lot of kids and grand children. Here are some of their names Solo, Delilah, Cinderella, Lucky, and Friday. And a whole lot more. Samson was her mate until he passed away. Now he is buried in front of their pack. Smokey is white, gray and black. This is how they got Smokey to the wolf sanctuary. This guy bought her off the back of a hunting magazine and he lied about where he lived and said that he lived with his grandma and he actually lived in Lancaster PA in an apartment. Well the game commission heard about this and picked her up at the station and brought her to the wolf sanctuary. Smokey is a very pretty wolf. You should see Smokey because you will probably like her because she is very funny. Bye for now.

Tioga

hi its Tessa again i just wanted to tell you a little about tioga he's in Merlin's pack and his aunt is in Merlin's pack to her name is Keisha tioga is bigger than his father and aunt if your wondering why ask the tour guides if you ever come. well when you ever come on a tour Merlin's pack is the very first one you see tioga is one of my favorite wolves there he's very very funny. the one day one of the tour guides had a bucket of food and the tour guide was in the pen and tioga grabbed the bucket out of her hand and pranced off with it in his mouth shaking his butt ! isn't that funny Merlin's pack is very close to miss dawns mothers house. isn't that cool and i have one more thing to add in October they our having a festival and you can come and kids 12 and under get in free and adults are only 10 dollars so you better come if you want to have fun. well i guess that's for now oh and tiogas color is white and black and little specks of brown here and there. bye

Delilah

Hey its me Tessa, let me tell you about my trip to the wolf sanctuary on Sunday 7/17/2011. Denny was our tour guide and I think I learned something new about all the packs since the last time I've been there!

It was really hot out for me, so it must have been a lot worse for the wolves. Because they have fur, and we don't, it's like us wearing a fur coat in summer. They get fresh water every day. To cool themselves down, they put their feet in the buckets sometimes. It's kind of funny. They also go in the tall weeds to cool off. Sometimes they go under their sheds. They do shed a layer of fur, so that helps a little. They also dig holes in the dirt to lay in. They are really smart.
And did I mention that Denny was a really awesome tour guide?. And when I got there I was so glad to see everybody, and they all gave me hugs I could tell they were really glad to see me.

So I want to tell you a little bit about Delilah, she's in Smokey's pack. Her father was part husky but sadly he passed away. But anyway she has two different colored eyes because he was part husky . She acts funny and when the tour guides have food she's always at the fence ready to eat, but sometimes she kinda acts shy. Shes black and has a hint of white and her eyes are blue and a reddish-brown color. She's one of my favorites she's so funny when the tour guides have food, she jumps up on the fence!

Tessa - about me

Hi, my name is Tessa. I am 9 years old. I will be going into 4th grade this year. I'm in cheerleading, this is my first year. It is awesome, and I like it a lot. My favorite tv show is I Carly. I have two cats, JJ and Cassie. JJ is white, and Cassie is black.

When I am not watching tv or playing on the computer, I like to play with my friends, and sometimes make cookies with my mom. I also like to read. My favorite books are about adventures. I have been having fun over the summer, but I am kind of excited to go back to school. I went to my first overnight camp this summer, it was a lot of fun. My favorite thing we did there was Forest Follies, which was like a talent show. Me and my friends did a funny song. I am also trying to grow my own plants. My cucumber plant is getting huge!

Tessa first entry

Hi my name is Tessa I'm 9 years old and I'm going into 4th grade. me and my mom have been to the wolf sanctuary since October last year. I think you should go to the wolf sanctuary because you can learn about wolves and what they eat and how they live. And every time you go there you always learn something new. And when you go there everybody is nice to you. And if you go to their gift shop you can get the world's most amazing pictures by chuck. make sure to check out Lucas cause you never know what he'll do! and he might stick his paw through the fence trying to get some food. Lucas is one of my favorite wolves there because he's funny and he makes me laugh. he's a beautiful wolf he's mostly black with a hint of grey. hope to see you soon I'll tell you more about wolves next time.
