This is Billy

This is Billy, writing my fourth blog for the speedwell wolf sanctuary. Sorry I didn't do a blog since summer, I was very busy. The other day was the wolf appreciation day, which was fun. You could get chicken barbecue, get a balloon, and some other stuff. The fence isn't finished yet, though. They moved some of the packs to a new area, but I don't know when they did that. By the way, to answer Cassandra and Savanna's question, there is about 40+ wolves at the sanctuary. I will write soon, hopefully, bye!

Fourth Blog

Hi, this is Billy, and this is my fourth blog. the new fence is not finished yet, but hopefully it will be very soon, and everyone will be able to see all the wolves. But they won't be in their usual areas, because all the wolf packs except Smokey's pack will be moved to a different parts of the sanctuary. Smokey's pack isn't going to be moved because they have enough room and the change might be too hard on her--she is the oldest wolf at the sanctuary. You might not see some of the wolves because of this type of Japanese plant that grows very quick in the area of the wolves, and it might block your view.

When we went Saturday there was the music and arts festival. there were all types of different crafts--my mom bought me wolf soap. there was also face painting, paintings, and wooden carvings of wolves. That's all for now, bye!

i went to the wolf sanctuary today. they are nearly finished with the new fencing-- so pretty soon everyone will be able to walk around the whole perimeter of the wolf sanctuary and see all the wolves. it is also good for the wolves because there will more room and they can rescue more wolves.

there are 6 or 7 packs now. because there will be more room, there can be more packs. you can't take a new wolf or wolves and put them into an existing pack because they will be seen as intruders and the pack will attack them. they will be separating the packs even further so they won't try to fight each other. in my next blog i will be writing about the largest pack that the sanctuary has.

New on the block

Hi, my name is Billy and I am the new blogger for Kids Wolf Talk. I am 10 years old and this is my first blog, also today was my first time going to the Pennsylvania Wolf Sanctuary. Today we went on a tour of the sanctuary and learned alot about wolves. My favorite wolf is Tioga--the tour guide said that his nickname is the "Big Baby". Right now there are more then 30 wolves living there. What is really cool is that each wolf seems to have its own personality. I will be writing more about each wolf in my blogs, later this month.

I wanted to thank the Wolf Sancutary for letting me be their blogger because I really love wolves and writing.
