October

Hi everyone, did you happen to go to Cabella's Kids' Fest last week on Saturday or Sunday? It was really fun. There was so much to do. You could fish for Catfish, get your face painted (my Nana was face painting), watch hilarious animal shows, pretend you're shooting birds (for free), learn about hunting and different kinds of animals, look at deer antlers, and of course, talk to the volunteers of the Wolf Sanctuary who were there to advertise. You could have come talk to me about my blog and/or get brochures and word searches. You could also have donated to help fund our sanctuary. Sorry we missed you, if you didn't make it, but hopefully, you will come and visit us soon. Don't forget, the October 25th Wolf Awareness Day has lots planned for everyone, especially kids. There will be face painting, wolf scent identification, wolf tours all day, food for purchase, many cool things to buy in our gift shop, and possibly some other activities too. This is an event that lasts from 11am until 7pm. Cost is $20 per adult. Children under 12 are free. Hope to see you there. Kyla from Kids Wolf Talk. : )

Dear Kyla, if you bite a wolf, does he/she bite back?

Dear nanadoctor,
We would never bite our wolves. First of all, the ones who have grown up without human contact do not want us to touch them, so they run away when we get too close. Those who have grown up with human contact prefer that we hug and kiss them. :) Thanks for stopping by. Kyla from Kids Wolf Talk. :)
